Founded in 2024, BSR Surveyors & Consultants is a family owned and operated, full-service marine and cargo survey firm that focuses on providing high quality surveyor and consulting services combined with rapid response and 24-hour availability.

During our 14-year career experience carrying out marine and cargo surveys in south Florida and the Caribbean, we found that insurers, vessel operators and managers, cargo shippers, and other businesses in the industry were encountering difficulties finding consistent and reliable surveyors, with similar high standards and operating procedures in Florida and the Caribbean. Interacting and establishing working relationships with surveyors in the Caribbean led us to the conclusion that a “one-stop shop” for surveyor and inspection services could benefit everyone involved. From that realization, BSR Surveyors & Consultants was formed.

BSR Surveyors & Consultants operates out of south Florida and services the entire South Eastern U.S., the Bahamas out of Freeport, Grand Bahama, and Puerto Rico. We are also prepared to travel wherever our services are requested and/or needed!

The Green Initiative

As an added benefit to our clients, BSR focuses on reducing waste resulting from claims. Far too often we see viable products/goods end up in a landfill. There are too many people around the world in need to let usable goods go to waste because of a slight defect or minor damage that makes it not viable for commercial use.

 

BSR is committed to using a greener approach as opposed to the quick disposal method often brought on by various entities that often prefer to discard the goods. We endeavor to find methods to reduce, reuse, or recycle goods. By doing so, we minimize waste and maximize mitigation.
